Roles | Camp Administrator


Whatever your role at any Barracudas camp, your primary responsibility is to ensure the health, safety and welfare of children in your care, to safeguard them and protect them from harm. Once these fundamentals are ensured you should aim to give each of them such an amazing experience they can’t wait to come back!

Responsibilities: Camp Administrators are responsible for overseeing all paperwork and admin tasks completed on camp, and assisting the senior team with their administrative duties. You will be required to talk to parents over the phone and face to face and throughout the day you will be required to complete a variety of admin based tasks. This role is only available at camps with 7+ groups.

Duties include:
• Processing on camp bookings
• Liaising with parents and guardians
• Completing staff attendance
• Communicate with Central Office to provide them with necessary information
• Allocating Group Assistant days off with guidance from your recruitment contact
• Ensure your camp Lifeguards are updating the pool file correctly
• Ensure forms on camp relating to both staff and children are being completed correctly and efficiently
• Oversee children’s Essential Information forms ensuring that every child on camp has one
• Ensure the BX+ course is being completed and assist the BX+ Coordinator when needed
• Monitor petty cash and financial records at camp
• Ensure Group Coordinators receive important information for children in their group such as any allergies or medical conditions

• Attend Senior Training Day – date/location TBC
• Candidates must be highly organised
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Google Drive
• Ability to develop IT skills in new areas such as our in house booking system
• You will be eligible to work in the UK
• Obtain an enhanced DBS check through Barracudas
• You will provide satisfactory references
• Be available for Induction Training Day and at least 1 set up day (these will be in the 7 day period prior to camp opening)

Salary: £385 - £420 per week (dependant on age, qualifications and experience)
Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm
