Staff Testimonial

I have worked as a lifeguard at a pool for 5 years before deciding to work as a lifeguard for Barracudas and I do not regret my decision. I have loved my new job, I get up every morning looking forward to the day. There's always something to do, it's fun for you as well as the kids, I've loved it and can't wait to go back. Thank you!

Online Training

Our Online training programme is tailored to your role and will allow you to learn about our Barracudas policies and procedures ahead of your induction training day at camp. All staff must complete the online test; you will be emailed a few weeks before the start of the season to allow you time to complete it.

Induction Training

All staff are required to attend the camp specific induction training which usually takes place the weekend before camp is due to open. The day will prepare you for camp life and give you an idea of what to expect during your time on camp from registration to learning about the sessions you can lead with your groups; it is also a great opportunity to meet your team prior to your first day! All Barracudas senior staff members must attend annual compulsory training. Ahead of your first season in the senior team you must also attend one day of initial senior training that covers our standard procedures. Once you have worked a full season you only need to attend the annual senior training for reviews, updates and site specific information.
