Staff Testimonial

I started working at Barracudas in the summer of 2016 as a Group Coordinator in Cobham. I had an absolutely amazing time, it helped me learn how to coordinate with lots of children and how to run fun, exciting sessions. This experience has contributed greatly to my teaching knowledge and has helped my confidence in and out of the classroom grow enormously. The managers were extremely helpful and informative, without being intimidating or condescending. They made the whole experience a lot easier for the new staff and ensured we all had a great time. Thanks for a great summer, Barracudas!

Meet the Recruitment Team 2018

As the recruitment season begins, we have confirmed the team for 2018. There have been some changes to team roles and we’re excited to be welcoming a new member to the department!

Emma (left), who previously recruited for the East team, is now our Recruitment Team Leader. She’ll be overseeing the team throughout the year, using her experience to make sure there is consistency across recruitment for all camps.

Judi (middle left) is recruiting for the West team for her 3rd year now! This year she’ll be the recruitment contact for our Surrey and Sussex camps.

Maddie (middle) will be recruiting for Essex camps in the East Team again this year. She started off as one of our Training Co-ordinators for the West Team in 2016.

Tia (middle right) is our new Recruiter for 2018! She previously worked in a Pre-School holiday club so already has a great understanding of holiday childcare environments. Tia is joining Judi in the West Team, and will be recruiting for camps in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.

Megan (right) joined us as part of the sales team 3 years ago, and is now in her 2nd year in the Recruitment department. This year Megan has moved over to the East Team, and will be recruiting for camps in Kent, London and Cambridgeshire.

We want to make the recruitment process as easy as possible for our staff. So, new for 2018 your recruitment contact will oversee all aspects of recruitment for your camp, which will include the following tasks:
• Reviewing applications and contracting camp teams (including senior teams)
• Processing references and DBS
• Booking staff onto training courses
• Anything else that is needed for their camps!
