I worked at Barracudas in Bedford for 1 week at Easter as the Dance and Drama instructor and 4 weeks in the summer as a Lifeguard in 2016. Everyday is different at Barracudas, there are lots of great and fun activities for the children which are also fun for the staff to instruct and get involved in too. The staff are all very friendly and by the end of camp you are all great friends. The management team are all very helpful and guide you well when needed. Working for Barracudas has given me the extra experience I have needed to pursue my goal of becoming a teacher and has given me great confidence towards my current teacher training. I have also learned different sports and skills that I can use in the future. Barracudas is an incredible company to work for and I would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to pursue a career working with children.

With 39 camp locations, a variety of job roles and FREE nationally recognised training courses to choose from, Barracudas provides plenty of opportunities for all. • If you are a new staff member to Barracudas then please click here to complete a 2017 application form.
• If you are a returning staff member then please log into the staff room to re-apply. Don't worry... it should only take a few minutes.    Just amend your details where necessary and select the camp and dates you're available for this year.


We aim to respond to your application by the 13th January if you are a new staff member and have applied by the 6th January. If you are a returning staff member and you apply by the 6th January you will receive a response by the 27th January.


New staff members applying for a general or specialist/group role – how the process works?


If you are successful at the point of application you will be invited to a telephone interview with one of our recruiters, which will last no longer than 10 minutes. If successful from the telephone interview you will be issued a conditional contract, you will be able to view and sign your contract online via the staff room once you have selected and submitted your preferred dates to attend an Assessment day which you must attend ahead of your contract start date, failure to do so would result in your contract being terminated. New staff members applying for a senior role – how the process works?


If you are successful at the point of application you will be invited to attend a Senior Selection Day, if successful from this day you will be issued a contract. You will need to attend a compulsory Senior Training day ahead of commencing work with us.


Returning Staff Members – how the process works?


If you are successful at the point of application you will be issued a contract for the 2017 season(s). Please ensure you check and sign the contract online promptly also completing any relevant online forms via the staff room.
